Resume

I was born in Izmir, Turkey, in November 1977, received my University degree in Biology from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2000, and my Master's degree in Biology from the same institution in 2002. I worked on computational biology in the Department of Biology and Institute of Applied Mathematics in Middle East Tehnical University from 2002 to 2004, and received my PhD in Cognitive and Neural Systems in Boston University in 2007. Along the way, I developed a predilection for postmodern literature, photography, and Belgian beer. Currently, I am a research associate at Harvard Medical School, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and work at Cardiovascular Research Lab at Spaulding Rehab Hospital, Boston MA.
